Non-Stop Airlift to California

A monthly summary of non-stop seats to California, including total domestic and international airlift, as well as a breakdown of airlift by market into California.

• In November 2025, California’s domestic air travel recorded 9.4 million non-stop seats to destinations across the state, 2.4% decline from November 2024.
• Internationally, Visit California’s 13 priority markets accounted for 1.4 million non-stop seats to the state, marking a 0.3 % year-over-year increase.

• Mexico remained the largest international source market with 460.7K non-stop seats, a 7% increase year over year, while Canada followed with 200.5K seats, up 12%.

• Among overseas markets, the Japan and the U.K. had the largest volume of nonstop seats to California, although airlift from the U.K. market has trended negative each month of 2025, declining 4.8% in November.

• Non-stop flights from India were reduced by nearly half (–53%) due to Air India flight reductions. In contrast, Italian airlift, while seasonally reduced, increased sharply by 106%.
